Refining-Based Financing Model
Mining Company

Provides an upfront payment to the mining company in return for a LOM discounted refining contract

Refines the concentrate or doré at either its affiliate refineries or through its LBMA global refinery relationships

Receives an ongoing market price discount on payable gold (with negligible effect on operator’s realized gold price as the discount is within normal market fluctuation)

Pays market price for mine production and offers full hedging and logistics solutions, as negotiated

Ships its concentrates / doré to Goldlogic for refining pursuant to the LOM refining contract

Financing is Non-Dilutive, Non-Stream, Non-Royalty; it behaves as Derivative / Contingent Liability

Goldlogic's Refining-based discount is not Booked as an Encumbrance. It's generally viewed as the realized revenue from production and as a Cost of Sales

Our Team
Vikram Sodhi
Executive Chairman
Private investor and philanthropist with over 20 years of experience implementing leveraged buy out, turnaround and growth investment strategies in the metals and mining, affordable housing and fin-tech sectors.
Mr. Sodhi is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Sun Valley Investments, a private metals and mining investment firm with an industry leading track record. He is also the Executive Chairman of Goldlogic Corp.
Vikram is also the Founder of the Sodhi Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to unlock novel medical treatments for PTSD and invests in early childhood education and economic empowerment initiatives in over 30 underserved communities in Colombia and India.
Mr. Sodhi has cofounded several private equity funds in the US, Latin America and India which have overseen over US $ 2 billion in metals, mining and affordable housing transactions and raised over US $ 1 billion of institutional capital from sovereign wealth funds, foundations, endowments and insurance companies.
Vikram is a graduate of Yale University where he received a full international scholarship and conducted neuroscience research at Yale Medical School. He serves on the Yale President’s Council on International Activities. He is also a Sterling Fellow at Yale University.
Vikram is fluent in five languages including Spanish and Portuguese.
Mike Doyle
VP Technical Services
Mr. Doyle has over 35 years experience in mining and exploration with Rio Tinto, Inmet and Wardell- Armstrong. Mr. Doyle has experience across exploration, feasibility studies and construction of major mining projects. He is a qualified Engineer and Geologist with a MSc in Environmental Management.
Alejandra Gómez
Senior Geologist
Alejandra Gómez Cardona has over 14 years of experience in exploration and resource estimation. Currently a Senior Geologist with Sun Valley Investment, she has worked with multi-disciplinary teams in the identification and development of gold and copper deposits. She specializes in 3D geological modelling and resource estimation according to JORC and NI 43-101 standards.
Manuel Cadavid
Geological Engineer
Manuel Felipe Cadavid Diaz, a geological engineer from the National University of Colombia with a degree in Geostatistics Applied to Mineral Resource Evaluation from the University of Antofagasta, Chile, has more than 6 years of experience in modeling and resource estimation for vetiform gold deposits, database management and auditing, and development of drill plans for surface and underground exploration. His experience also includes drill core logging and geological mapping in underground mines.
Juan Pablo Serna
Geologist
Juan Pablo Serna has 13 years of experience, all dedicated to mineral resource estimation and modeling. He specializes in evaluating mining projects to assess their technical feasibility. Currently a Senior Geologist at Sun Valley Investment, Juan Pablo’s expertise includes developing detailed geological models and conducting thorough resource evaluations to ensure project viability.
