Daniel Henao

Mr. Henao is a seasoned engineer and mining industry leader with proven experience in driving strategic growth along the entire precious metals value chain: from the execution of high-impact exploration campaigns to mining, processing and refining. As partner and vice president of business development at Sun Valley Investments, Mr. Henao has led the evaluation, acquisition, development and operation of multiple precious metals projects, generating sustainable growth and value creation of over US $400 million.

His role on the board of Mineros S.A. has allowed him to apply his strategic vision and operational experience to a leading mining company, making a significant impact on the industry. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions in different cultural and commercial environments, risk management, project management, as well as a strong track record in navigating complex mining regulations, ensuring that projects meet environmental and safety standards while maximizing profitability. He is recognized for his leadership qualities, strong communication and negotiation skills.
